Just soooo tired

Hey everyone- I hope you are on your way to having a fun weekend. We don't have much set in stone, but I think we will try to go to a pumpkin patch with Ella this weekend. It has been a long week for us, Doug and I are both tired. His grandfather is in an assisted living place at the moment while he is going through radiation for his tongue cancer. Then with this being chemo week, he picks up a lot of the slack that I am not doing. I just get soooooo tired. Yesterday I drove to the cancer center to get my pump off and snoozed at every light, that probably wasn't a good idea. It is hard, I just want to stay in bed all day but with Ella I have to get up and get moving. It is a struggle. Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend. I am sure we will. talk to you all soon. shawndra

Hello and Good Morning, Shawndra! Do you have any idea how much you mean to so many people...and of course ME??? You are such an amazing, inspiring individual. I am blessed to know you and call you my friend. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your world with all of us. What an unselfish act for anyone. It's another "tired" week and that stinks. But focus on the days to come and heading out to the pumpkin patch with your beautiful "mini-me" Ella.
You are loved and prayed for by so many each and every day. Whatever God's master plan, He has a big one for you.Call, email, whatever you need and I am here. (417) 850-5155 or alomshek@cableone.net.
You GO, Shawndra!
Love,
Anissa

Hey there good lookin'! I hope you, Doug and Ella have a relaxing and fun fall weekend. Sleep as much as you can and enjoy the beautiful weather at the pumpkin patch, as well!
I'm planning to go to Father Vince's Mass Saturday, at 5...you are always welcome to join me. :)
Have a wonderful weekend.

I think the rain you love is also a natural hypnotist! It seems that those days always make you sleepy. However.....snoozing at the red lights is probably NOT a good idea. But alas, the sun is out, the crisp air is blowing and it sounds like a fabulous weekend for the pumpkin patch, I think it is our plans as well. Enjoy this "jeans and sweatshirt" time as the yucky coat and glove time is just around the corner, BOO. Peace and Love to you all.

Keeping you and your family in my prayers. You are such an inspiration to so many people including me, and I don't even personally know you! That is so cool! Get lots of rest, you deserve it girl!

Shawndra- I hope you are feeling better! Makes me wonder what your Hct is? Not that you don't have every right to be tired anyway! How are your counts? Better I hope. If no worries re: being around others, would love to get together and play- even if you go and take a nap, we could play... :) I don't want you falling asleep driving anywhere- (after my wreck a week ago... I'm more in tune with these things)
Hope you found a good pumpkin!
EXPECT A MIRACLE.
We love you and pray for you, your family and doctors all the time.

PS picked a destination yet?

A good quote for the day: I have found that there are three stages in every great work of God: first, it is impossible, then it is difficult, then it is done.” (Hudson Taylor)
