I Promised

Here are some photos I've been promising. We are having a great weekend, spending a lot of time together as a family. I love this time together. I got a new play dough kit so we have been making things with play dough, and just messing around the house. Getting these pictures up actually motivated us to work on our pictures we need to put in frames and hang on the walls. Right now Ella is jumping on her trampoline (a mini indoor trampoline) as I type this. I better go, she is calling out, "mommy, mommy,mommy,....
PS. She is not wearing lipstick, this is her natural lip color!

Also, Doug uploaded photos from our New Years Eve party. We just had a few friends and some family over to celebrate. Yes, there was dancing. Jason brought over his T-Rex laser (like the ones you see at dance clubs). It was fun. You can view them here.

Here is Ella in her underwear. She wanted one pair underneath, but also another pair on top. Silly girl! We are working on going without pullups this weekend. So far so good!

Early morning snuggling in the rays of a bright sun.

Daddy and Ella getting ready to play outside together. Daddy is so much fun!!!

Doug and I at dinner in Snowmass, Colorado (our ski trip). Doug's the love of my life!

Ella and I hanging out with Chucky Cheese, last night. She was very interested in Chucky. We had a great time! Happy Birthday Emma!

Dear Shawndra,
Thank you so much for keeping your promise! The pictures are well worth having waited for. I agree with Amy. The picture of you and Ella snuggling is gorgeous. They are all beautiful. You and Doug and Ella are all beautiful. Joyce

All the pic's look like fun. I see a lot of the Beauchamp in Ella, but I see Doug too. You guys must be having a ball wiht her. That's the Shawndra I remember in her little face. And the New Years pic's were great. I'm sure that some of those guys are forever greatful that you have exposed their dancing skills to the blog world. Who knows, dancin' with the stars might give 'em a call. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Shawndra,

Your little Ella is quite photogenic; it seems she takes after her mom in several respects. I would show that gorgeous, glowing little ball of sunshine off to the world, too!

I am sorry the last couple of weeks have been so difficult. You and your family are such a fine example, though, of what family should be. We who read your blog are lucky to be allowed into your circle.

I hope this week brings you renewed energy and lots of snuggle time with your little Punks.

It makes me soooo happy to hear that you are feeling good and are having a great time with your family and friends! Just reading your words makes me smile! :)
I LOVE the pictures you posted. My all-time favorite Shawndra pic - we are going back almost 30 years now - is the one of you and Ella in the early morning rays of sun. You both are very beautiful and special young ladies. I love you both very much.
I hope you enjoy this week and many more to come.

Love, d

ps - You are a great motivator when it comes to working out. Maybe I can join you guys soon...I need a kick in the pants! ;)

I was shown your blog through your husband's cousin. You are an amazing woman! I lift you up in prayer daily. I am 38 and was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer because it went to my liver. I am on the pump treatments you are on. I have had two surgeries. I had a baby in May and also had to fight the Dr's to get me checked out because I don't have cancer in my family but you have to be an advocate for yourself! The hardest part of treatment besides being sick is the sensitivity to cold. My baby girl keeps me smiling and going. I know the power of prayer, family, neighbors, and church. I am anxious to hear how your surgery goes and lift you up in my thoughts. You are an inspirationto all!
Blessings,

Shandra, Marilyn K. is a very dear friend of mine here in St. Louis. I have been following your story and praying for you and your family. I was listening to a show the other day and they talked about Frankfurt's University Clinic in Germany. They have done some experimental cancer treatments that have been successful that the USA can not do at the present time. I don't know if this helps any..... Donna
